The Lifetouch CD which had all Dr. Swift class photos on it was damaged during shipping. Lifetouch apologizes and will be attending Dr. Swift on June 6 to take all class photos once again.
Great job by the Grade 7 & 8, 6U and 6B Band Students at the NLSD Fine Arts Showcase on April 23rd. Excellent performances of O’ Canada, Hawaii Five-O, and Freaky Fantasy were enjoyed by all who attended. Grade 7 & 8 Band students also played for the students at Vera M. Welsh on April 19th. They were received with much enthusiasm by all elementary students!! On May 7th, Dr. Swift, Central, Vera, JAWS, and Plamondon schools will join together at the Bold Center for Canada’s National Music Monday Celebration. It will start at 10:00 am and include performances from each school. The Finale at 11:00 am will be broadcasted live on Big Dog & include all schools performing the National Music Monday song “Tomorrow is Coming”. Please join us in celebrating music!!

Dr. Swift is a Middle School, grades 6-8, centrally located in the Town of Lac La Biche. Dr. Swift Middle School has an enrollment of approximately 300 students, 18 professional staff and 11 support staff. Dr. Swift Middle School is dedicated to providing a challenging and relevant education, through innovation and cooperation between the home, school and community, to enable all students to become responsible global citizens. Dr. Swift offers several programs including the unique Youth Apprenticeship Program (YAP) offered in both grade 7 & 8.
